I braved the (not so fierce) wind and rain earlier, and here is documented proof that we are feeling very blessed this morning:
Above is the Linehan abode. We’ve had more leaves and branches down after a thunderstorm rolls through.
And above is the view from our front door, looking out across our cul-de-sac. One of our neighbors boarded up his front windows. Again, there’s not much to see except leaves, pine needles and some scattered little branches.
Now we will sit tight (since we are well-stocked), enjoy the rest of our weekend, and pray for our neighbors to the east who bore the brunt of Rita.
