11 News has been reporting about concerns of overcrowding at a Fleming Middle School.
They’re having to share their campus with students from Key Middle School because of health concerns on that campus.
So far, it has not been determined exactly what the problem is at that school.
Now, community activists are talking about a walkout at Fleming unless something is done.
HISD is warning Key Middle School students not to participate in reported walkout.
Earlier Wednesday 11 News heard from activist Quanell X who said he was encouraging students to skip school Thursday as a sign of protest.
But now, the activist has changed his mind and is asking parents and students to protest Friday after school hours to avoid possible curfew violations.
Still, some parents say they will go on as scheduled.
Parents say the transfer is jeopardizing their children’s education.
But cutting class and following around a self-proclaimed number surely furthers their education. Okee!
